During the first 12 years of her career, as a partner in a conventional mid-sized firm, Sophie was driven by an insatiable hunger for innovation and a deep-seated desire to connect personally with her clients. Her desire has always been to change the traditional approach of providing legal services and energize her long-cherished vision: the law firm of tomorrow.

Her vision for serving her clients is based in a desire for human level connection and the importance of innovation to enable such connection. Sauvé Law is Sophie’s answer to the call for a more intimate, client-focused approach, promising an experience replete with compassion, piece of mind and unparalleled personal attention. Her vision is for a new era in legal services with a firm that combines efficiency with client care.

In her role as barrister, Sophie has creatively researched and pleaded cases before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT). In her role as solicitor, she has guided countless individuals, businesses and families to realize their dreams – be it sealing pivotal business deals, celebrating the acquisition of a new home, securing business investments or protecting legacies.

Moreover, Sophie’s passion for helping people advance their legal rights and entitlements is behind her connection to the local community. Through the organization of conferences and training sessions, she regularly provides guidance to those who are curious to learn about the law and their rights. In doing so, she draws on her experience as a former professor at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, French Common Law section.

Sophie is fluent in both of Canada’s official languages, ensuring her ability to serve a diverse spectrum of clients and foster a deeper, more intimate understanding of her clients’ needs and aspirations.

Beyond her life as a lawyer, Sophie can be found out on the trails of the Gatineau Park, carving her path as a trail runner or mountain biker. For her, every hour spent outside is a reflection of her philosophy in life and law: relentless forward momentum.
